MANILA, Philippines — After weeks of uncertainty over whether the Philippines would be included in BIGBANG's comeback tour, the K-pop supergroup has officially added Manila to its "XX : COSMOS" World Tour, bringing its 20th anniversary celebration to Filipino fans on Feb. 20, 2027.
The concert will be held at the SMDC Festival Grounds in Parañaque City, with the announcement made Tuesday through the group's official tour schedule.
The Manila stop comes as welcome news for Filipino VIPs, BIGBANG's longtime fan base, after the Philippines was noticeably absent from the tour's initial list of destinations. Fans had expressed concern on social media that the country would once again be skipped before the updated itinerary confirmed the additional show.
Ticket prices, seat plans and ticket-selling dates have yet to be announced.
The "XX : COSMOS" World Tour celebrates BIGBANG's 20th anniversary and features members G-Dragon, Taeyang and Daesung, who have reunited for the milestone series of concerts.
Earlier this year, the trio made a highly anticipated return to the global stage with a performance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, marking one of the festival's biggest K-pop highlights. Their appearance generated widespread attention and renewed excitement for the group's anniversary activities, including the world tour.
Debuting in 2006, BIGBANG is widely regarded as one of the most influential acts in K-pop, helping shape the genre's global rise with its distinctive sound, trendsetting fashion and energetic live performances. Over the years, the group has earned international recognition while building a devoted fan base across Asia and beyond.
The Manila concert is expected to feature many of BIGBANG's biggest hits, including "Bang Bang Bang," "Fantastic Baby," "Haru Haru," "Lies," "Blue," "Bad Boy," "Loser," "Sober," "Last Farewell," "Sunset Glow," "Still Life," and "We Like 2 Party." Fans are also anticipating solo stages from G-Dragon, Taeyang and Daesung, whose individual careers have remained active alongside the group's reunion.
Further details on ticketing and concert production are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
