Legoland Florida plans bulkier, earlier Halloween event

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Legoland Florida will expand its Halloween event and give it its earliest start this year.

The Winter Haven theme park will have 18 days of Brick or Treat, starting Sept. 6. That’s up from 12 Halloween-themed dates in 2025.

The park’s holiday programming will including character meet-and-greets with Monster Rocker, Spider Lady, Mummy, Zombie Pirate, Scarecrow and Shark Suit Guy, along with “The Great Monster Chase 4D Movie” and, on select evenings, the “Monster Skytacular” drone show. Legoland will announce more live entertainment, shows and themed experiences later. The park website touts a candy corn scavenger hunt, zombie cheer crew, monster-party overlay on the carousel and a Lego pumpkin build.

New to the theme park since last Halloween is its Galacticoaster, an indoor family thrill ride with an spacecraft theme.

The Brick-or-Treat event dates for 2026 are Sept. 5, 6, 12, 19, 26 and Oct. 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 23, 24, 25, 30 and 31. The festivities are included with regular Legoland admission.

Other theme park spooky festivities including Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom, launching Aug. 7; SeaWorld’s Spooktacular on Aug. 29, followed by its Howl-O-Scream on Sept. 18; and Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios on Aug. 28.
