The Wimbledon final will be the first all-Czech women’s grand slam final as Linda Noskova takes on Karolina Muchova.

It is the first time two women representing the same nation have contested the title match at a slam since the 2017 US Open when Sloane Stephens defeated Madison Keys. The women’s title will also be won by a Czech for the third time in four years.

“Karolina is such a great fighter, an incredible player but mainly and mostly she’s a great person,” Noskova said of Muchova.

“I’m glad I get to play my first final with her.”

🔮Prediction

Muchova has done exceptionally well to cope with the big hitting of first Naomi Osaka and then Coco Gauff in the semi-final. The variety in her game should help her manage the power from Noskova. But the junior Czech does not make many errors and has dominated opponents with her serve.
