Manchester United have surprisingly added Khvicha Kvaratskhelia of Paris Saint-Germain to their list of transfer targets.
Kvaratskhelia is being pursued by Manchester United.
According to Football Transfers , Manchester United are looking for a quality winger to bolster their squad. Previously, the Old Trafford club had also been linked with players such as Marcus Tavernier, Morgan Gibbs-White, and Yan Diomande.
Kvaratskhelia only joined PSG from Napoli in January 2025 for a fee of around 70 million euros. However, the Georgian international's future in Paris is in doubt following reports of disagreements in the dressing room.
Some teammates are reportedly unhappy with the 25-year-old's playing style, arguing that he is too individualistic and sometimes makes ill-advised decisions. Despite playing a crucial role in PSG's Champions League victory last season under Luis Enrique, Kvaratskhelia's form this season has been inconsistent.
This situation has attracted the attention of many Premier League clubs, including Manchester United and Arsenal.
In the defeat against Newcastle, Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha struggled as they frequently drifted into the center, leaving Manchester United without width in their play. Michael Carrick's decision to only bring on Amad Diallo in the final 15 minutes was not enough to help MU break through the home team's tight defense.
Furthermore, Manchester United's attacking support from their two full-backs is limited, especially with the absence of Patrick Dorgu, a player known for his attacking runs and ability to create chances. These limitations have led the Red Devils' management to continue searching for options to strengthen the wing positions.
