Ford Vietnam has just launched a Platinum version for its Territory SUV, bringing the total number of options to four models. The newest version is priced at 916 million VND, 41 million VND more expensive than the Titanium X version.
So, compared to current models, what upgrades does the Ford Territory Platinum offer?
The Territory Platinum's dimensions are no different from the other three versions. In terms of design, this version has undergone minor changes, but otherwise remains quite similar to the other models.
The front of the car still features a horizontal LED daytime running light strip, with the version name in the center of the hood. Just below the grille, the enclosed air intake, previously painted in the same color as the exterior, has been changed to gloss black. The rear also features an added version logo and a gloss black rear bumper to highlight the difference.
The highlight of this model comes from its interior features. The new version is fitted with perforated leather seats with distinctive diamond-pattern stitching, enhancing breathability for occupants. The door sills incorporate LED lighting that illuminates when the doors are opened, while the air filtration system still includes a PM2.5 filter combined with an ionizer.

The entertainment system has been upgraded with a 10-speaker sound system, including a center speaker and subwoofer, along with a 320W power amplifier. The car continues to use a dual 12.3-inch screen setup, supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The biggest safety upgrade on the 2026 Territory Platinum is the addition of Traffic Jam Assist (TJA) and Adaptive Cruise Control.
The Ford Territory Platinum is equipped with the same 1.5L turbocharged EcoBoost engine as the other versions, producing a maximum power of 160 horsepower and a maximum torque of 248 Nm.
The biggest changes on the Territory are mostly in technology and safety features. The price of 916 million VND is suitable for those who still appreciate the practicality and spaciousness of the Territory but want to upgrade the in-cabin entertainment experience.
The price point allows the Territory Platinum to compete in the higher-end segment of mid-size SUVs in the one billion VND price range, such as the Mazda CX-5 2.5L Signature (959 million VND), Hyundai Tucson N Line (989 million VND), or Honda CR-V e:HEV RS ( 1.25 billion VND ).
