Recently, the Ca Mau Provincial Inspectorate publicly released Inspection Conclusion No. 82/KL-TT dated September 29, 2026, regarding the inspection of the Vietnam-Australia Tourism Destination - Ca Mau Investment Project, invested by Vietnam-Australia Tourism Co., Ltd. - Ca Mau. The conclusion points out shortcomings in the project's implementation and recommends that the Provincial People's Committee and relevant agencies address obstacles related to land and site clearance.
The project has a total investment of 285 billion VND.
According to the conclusion, the project is located in Ca Mau Cultural Park (now Hamlet 1, An Xuyen Ward, Ca Mau Province), with a land area of 15.22 hectares. The objective of the project is to invest in and operate a tourist destination, with a maximum designed capacity of 6,000 visitors per day and 5 functional zones.
