On October 20, China's National Immigration Administration (NIA) released data on immigration and emigration activities in the third quarter.
Accordingly, the top 10 countries with the largest number of foreign visitors entering China are Russia, South Korea, Vietnam, Malaysia, the United States, Mongolia, Japan, Singapore , Thailand, and Australia. Visitors from these 10 countries account for 63.9% of the total number of foreign visitors entering the country.
Lin Yongsheng, a spokesperson for the NIA, said the rapid increase in international visitors is due to China's continuous expansion of its visa exemption policy and improvements to entry conditions for tourists.
