Hyundai Tucson is discounted at dealerships.

A dealership in the central region is running a major discount program for the Hyundai Tucson, with savings of up to 163 million VND depending on the version.

Specifically, the Hyundai Tucson Turbo has been reduced to 816 million VND, while the Tucson N Line has a real price of 826 million VND, both reduced by 163 million VND compared to the listed price.

After the discount, the two top-of-the-line versions of the Tucson are priced lower than the Toyota Corolla Cross, a B+ SUV/CUV model that currently starts at 828 million VND.

The program only applies to remaining stock of vehicles manufactured in 2025 (VIN 2025), and the quantity and color options are quite limited.

Another dealership in the northern region also offered a discount program, but with a lower discount of around 140 million VND. Meanwhile, many other dealerships only implemented official promotional programs with a maximum discount of 85 million VND.

What does the Hyundai Tucson offer?

The Hyundai Tucson currently sold in Vietnam is the mid-cycle facelift version, launched in October 2024.

The car is equipped with a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, an 8-speaker Bose sound system, a panoramic sunroof, automatic wipers, a driver's seat with two memory positions, power-adjustable front seats, heated and cooled seats, and an electronic parking brake.

The N Line version, in particular, adds a sporty exterior package inspired by the Hyundai N high-performance brand.

The list of notable safety technologies includes the ADAS driver assistance package with features such as automatic emergency braking, forward collision avoidance assist, blind spot monitoring and collision avoidance assist, lane keeping assist, adaptive headlights, adaptive cruise control, safe door open warning, and collision avoidance assist when reversing or parking.

In terms of powertrain, the Tucson offers three engine options. The standard version uses a 2.0L naturally aspirated gasoline engine producing 156 horsepower and 192 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.

The Turbo version uses a 1.6L turbocharged gasoline engine, producing 180 horsepower and 265Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and HTRAC all-wheel drive system.

Additionally, the vehicle also offers a 2.0L diesel engine option, producing 186 horsepower and 416 Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The Tucson Hybrid is about to enter the Vietnamese market.

Besides the gasoline and diesel engine versions, Hyundai recently showcased the Tucson Hybrid in Vietnam, but has not yet announced the official price.

According to information from the sales staff, this model is expected to officially launch on the market in October 2026, with a price said to be under 1 billion VND.

In terms of design, the Tucson Hybrid is virtually unchanged from the currently sold versions. It uses the exterior of the Special Edition, similar to how Hyundai uses it on the Santa Fe Hybrid.

The interior features a digital instrument panel and a 12.3-inch infotainment screen. A new design element is the three-spoke steering wheel, similar to the Hyundai Ioniq 5, which no longer has the logo in the center. The electronic gear selector has also been moved to behind the steering wheel.

The biggest difference compared to the currently available versions lies in the hybrid powertrain, combining a Smartstream G1.6 T-GDi turbocharged gasoline engine with an electric motor, delivering a total output of nearly 232 horsepower and a maximum torque of 367 Nm.

The vehicle is also fully equipped with the Hyundai SmartSense active safety technology package, promising to increase its competitiveness in the C-segment SUV market.
