FIFA has announced the ideal team for the 2026 World Cup following a fan vote. The team includes goalkeeper Vozinha, defenders Pedro Porro, Lisandro Martinez, Dayot Upamecano, Marc Cucurella, midfielders Rodri, Michael Olise, Jude Bellingham, and forwards Lionel Messi, Erling Haaland , and Kylian Mbappe.
Among the 11 selected names, three Spanish world champions –Rodri , Porro, and Cucurella – were included. However, the best goalkeeper of the tournament, Unai Simon, and the best young player of the tournament, Pau Cubarsi, were not included.

Spain's number one goalkeeper, Unai Simon, not only won the Golden Glove award after his outstanding performance at the tournament, but he also conceded only one goal and kept a clean sheet in 7 out of 8 matches on the way to Spain's second World Cup title.
However, fans have shown more affection and appreciation for goalkeeper Vozinha. The Cape Verde goalkeeper is considered a pleasant surprise of the tournament after a series of impressive performances against Spain and Argentina.
In midfield, FIFA chose Rodri, the winner of the 2026 World Cup Golden Ball. Although the Manchester City midfielder didn't score or provide assists, he was the heart and soul of Spain's game and left a lasting impression.
The other two midfielders chosen for the center of the pitch are Jude Bellingham, a prominent star of the England national team, and Michael Olise, who has made a strong impression as the playmaker for the French national team.
In attack, the presence of the trio Messi, Haaland, and Mbappe was inevitable. Mbappe won the Golden Boot with 10 goals, Messi scored 8 goals, leading Argentina to the final, while Haaland continued to demonstrate his fearsome goal-scoring instinct in the Norwegian national team.
