Liverpool have successfully signed Munoz.
Liverpool have confirmed an agreement to sign Mumoz, but the deal is pending the completion of work permits and international transfer procedures. The Spanish player is currently on duty at the 2026 World Cup and will undergo his medical examination in the United States. He has signed a six-year contract.
According to The Athletic , Liverpool activated Munoz's €40 million release clause to acquire him. This is also the first signing under manager Andoni Iraola, and is seen as the start of the Reds' plan to revamp their attack.
Munoz has earned two caps for the Spanish national team and scored on his debut against Serbia in March, marking a significant step forward in his international career. Last season, he performed outstandingly for Osasuna, making 34 appearances, scoring 7 goals and providing 5 assists across all competitions.
Before joining Osasuna, Munoz came through Real Madrid's youth academy and made four appearances for the first team. He also spent time developing at Barcelona's academy. Liverpool value the 22-year-old winger's speed, ability to create chances, and versatility, seeing him as a key piece in their long-term plans.
Munoz is the team's second signing for the 2026/27 season, following the earlier signing of Jeremy Jacquet. Jacquet arrived at Anfield from Rennes for €70 million.
