This was shared by Mr. Nguyen Viet Long, Deputy Head of the Management Board of Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park (SHTP), on the sidelines of the 8th Annual International Conference on High-Tech Parks - Southeast Region Research and Innovation Day, with the theme "High-tech cities - The driving force for Ho Chi Minh City's growth in the new era", held on October 16th.
According to Mr. Long, high-tech human resources are a crucial factor for Ho Chi Minh City, as well as Vietnam, to attract high-tech investment and develop a technology ecosystem. To meet this need, SHTP is implementing a "Three-Party" linkage model, comprising the State, Schools, and Businesses, with a focus on connecting training with the actual needs of businesses.
In the semiconductor sector, SHTP is collaborating with Intel Corporation to train personnel. According to the plan, Intel will sponsor and transfer to the SHTP Training Center a production line for the testing, inspection, and packaging of semiconductor chips.
