The risk of accidents is high due to prolonged rain causing landslides.
On October 18th, 20th, and 22nd, reporters from Construction Newspaper were present on the coastal road at Km51+300 (in Bac Son hamlet, Hai Loc commune, Nghe An province) and observed that landslides were occurring on the embankment.

A large amount of soil and rocks slid down from the mountain, completely blocking the drainage ditch along the road, and some of it spilled onto the road itself. The People's Committee of Hai Loc commune has placed warning signs in the area to alert residents of the dangerous landslide.
