Mr. Tran Duc Hiep, Director of the La Son - Hoa Lien Expressway Expansion Project Management Board, said that after the Ministry of Construction issued a Decision to implement technical solutions for landslides caused by the 2025 storms and to adjust the Khe Tre interchange due to landslides on the N1 branch.

Specifically, the design shifts branch N1 to Km14+960 to ensure the stability of the structure, facilitate traffic flow and connection with the local transportation infrastructure, while keeping branch N2 in its original position. Branch N1 is designed to match the scale of Provincial Road 14B, currently a mountainous Class IV road with a design speed of 40 km/h.
