The Li Auto MEGA Home, an all-electric family MPV, officially appeared in the registration documents of China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) on June 10th. This is the final step before this vehicle, nicknamed the "ground spaceship," officially enters commercial production.

True to its "MEGA" name, the new MPV boasts impressive dimensions with a length of 5,355 mm, a width of 1,965 mm, and a height of 1,850 mm. The wheelbase reaches 3,300 mm, promising extremely spacious cabin space for its 7-seat configuration (2/2/3 arrangement).

The highlight inside is the intelligent seat customization. The second row seats can slide flexibly, while the third row can be folded flat and flipped forward 85 degrees. This design expands the luggage compartment from 680 mm to 1,066 mm, optimizing the need to transport belongings on long family trips.
Powerful performance from the dual-motor system.
The Li Auto MEGA Home is equipped with a dual-motor electric drive system. The front motor, a 155 kW unit manufactured by Huawei, is paired with a rear motor, a 258 kW unit from Jiangsu Li Auto Drive Technology. This total power output is impressive for a large MPV.
The vehicle uses a three-component lithium-ion battery pack with battery cells supplied by CATL. The complete battery pack assembly process is carried out by Ningde Jiaocheng CATL, ensuring the highest standards of operational performance and long-term durability.
Breakthrough safety technology with 4 lidar sensors.
In terms of exterior design, the vehicle features new semi-recessed door handles. Most notably, there's a significant upgrade to the environmental awareness system. In addition to the lidar on the roof like previous versions, the MEGA Home adds solid-state lidar sensors on the sides and rear.
Increasing the total number of lidar sensors from one to four enables the vehicle to accurately observe its surroundings in 360 degrees. This system provides crucial input data for advanced driver assistance features, ensuring maximum safety when driving in challenging traffic conditions.
The technologically advanced cockpit is inspired by the Li Auto L9.
Inside the dashboard, the Li Auto MEGA Home inherits the design style from the flagship L9 SUV. The highlight is the seamless screen that stretches across the entire dashboard, creating a technologically advanced and luxurious space.
