On the afternoon of October 19th, Dane Fort, founder and chairman of California Fitness & Yoga, unexpectedly posted a video on the system's official fan page. On behalf of the leadership team, he accepted responsibility and apologized to members, employees, partners, and suppliers for the impact over the past period.
However, the video did not specify the scale of the financial obligations to be addressed, the resources allocated for the restructuring process, or the list of facilities that are expected to continue operating.
Acknowledging responsibility, they requested an additional 30 days for restructuring.
