Paparazzi have repeatedly spotted the facelifted Santa Fe undergoing testing, while its camouflage is gradually being removed.
In the latest prototype, the front of the vehicle is no longer covered with a black cloth as before, allowing for a clearer view of the new look of this three-row SUV.

Accordingly, the headlight cluster is positioned centrally, while the "H"-shaped daytime running lights (DRL) on the current model have been redesigned. Meanwhile, the DRLs are now redesigned as vertical strips located at the two outer edges of the front of the vehicle.
The camouflage hasn't revealed other changes to the front of the car, but it appears the 2027 Santa Fe will feature a taller grille. The familiar air intakes are retained, while the front bumper has a softer design.
The Santa Fe's side profile retains its characteristic boxy style, combined with newly designed geometric wheels. The rear of the car also features some changes, with a new rear bumper, vertically positioned taillights, and a redesigned tailgate.

The interior remains a mystery, but it's likely the Santa Fe will feature a refreshed dashboard and the new Pleos Connect infotainment system. This system debuted on the Hyundai Grandeur facelift with a 17-inch screen, while the new generation Elantra offers 12.9-inch and 14.6-inch screen options.
The updated Santa Fe will most likely continue to use the current engine options, including a 2.5L turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine producing 277 horsepower and 421 Nm of torque. In addition, there will be a hybrid version using a 1.6L turbocharged engine, generating a total output of 231 horsepower and 367 Nm of torque.

Additionally, there have been rumors that Hyundai will add a version using an extended-range electric vehicle (EREV), but there is currently not much detailed information about this variant.
