The Yaris Cross, a B-segment SUV, rivals the Mitsubishi Xforce in design, surpassing it all others.
iCar V23 Cyber Edition
iCar has just expanded its V23 electric SUV product line with a new Cyber Edition in the Chinese market. With dimensions placing it in the B-segment SUV category, the iCar V23 Cyber Edition is considered a noteworthy contender when compared to familiar models like the Mitsubishi Xforce or Toyota Yaris Cross, but boasts a completely different style.
In the increasingly competitive B-segment SUV market, dominated by models like the Mitsubishi Xforce and Toyota Yaris Cross, the iCar V23 Cyber Edition takes a different path, opting for a boxy, off-road-inspired design. Instead of the soft lines often seen in urban crossovers, this electric vehicle boasts a robust appearance with sharp angles, creating a rugged and aggressive look from the first glance.
The front of the car continues to maintain the familiar style of the V23 series with a small grille combined with split-design headlights on either side. Compared to previous versions, the Cyber Edition has been refined to be more modern and minimalist by removing the roof rails and the auxiliary front lights. The highlight is the 21-inch star-shaped alloy wheels, which give the overall car a more distinctive and sporty look.
In terms of dimensions, the iCar V23 Cyber Edition measures 4,249 mm in length, 1,915 mm in width, and 1,845 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,735 mm. These figures indicate that the model boasts relatively spacious interiors within the B-segment SUV category, capable of competing with the Mitsubishi Xforce and Toyota Yaris Cross in terms of usable space.
Inside the cabin, the iCar V23 Cyber Edition is designed with a minimalist yet technologically advanced style. The dashboard features flat lines combined with an 8.88-inch LCD digital instrument cluster and a 15.4-inch central infotainment screen. This layout creates a modern feel while also distinctly differentiating it from the familiar design styles of the Mitsubishi Xforce or Toyota Yaris Cross.

The Cyber Edition also features a new sporty interior package with black suede upholstery and striking red seatbelts. The dark-toned sports seats contribute to a premium feel and create a high-performance car atmosphere in the cockpit.
The most noteworthy aspect of the iCar V23 Cyber Edition lies in its performance. This electric SUV uses a rear-mounted permanent magnet synchronous electric motor, producing a maximum power of 252 horsepower and a maximum torque of 300 Nm. This far surpasses the average for the B-segment SUV market, including the Mitsubishi Xforce and Toyota Yaris Cross, which focus on fuel efficiency and meeting daily commuting needs.
The rear-wheel drive configuration is also a rare feature in this segment. This not only gives the iCar V23 Cyber Edition a sportier driving feel but also sets it apart from many B-segment SUVs that use front-wheel drive, such as the Mitsubishi Xforce and Toyota Yaris Cross.
The most noteworthy aspect of the iCar V23 Cyber Edition lies in its performance.
The vehicle's power source comes from an 80.16 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack manufactured by CATL. Thanks to this large-capacity battery, the iCar V23 Cyber Edition can achieve a maximum driving range of 550 km on a single charge according to CLTC standards. This is a fairly competitive figure in the current small electric SUV segment.
With its bold off-road design, technologically advanced interior, 252 horsepower, and a range of up to 550 km, the iCar V23 Cyber Edition is creating a different approach in the B-segment SUV market.
