On the morning of October 25th, the area around the entrance to Ba Vi National Park ( Hanoi ) was packed with people and vehicles waiting to buy tickets for the tour. Even before dawn, many tourists had arrived as early as 3 AM, forming long lines hoping to be able to climb the mountain to chase the clouds, watch the sunrise, and admire the wild sunflowers.
Speaking to Tri Thức - Znews , Ms. Ngoc Anh (38 years old, residing in Chuong My ward, Hanoi ) said that she and her two young children left home at 2 am to go to Ba Vi for a weekend getaway.
At around 3:45 PM, upon arriving at the national park entrance, she encountered a large crowd of tourists queuing to buy tickets amidst heavy rain and thick fog. She joined the crowd and waited for about an hour before it was her turn.
