BLACKPINK’s Jennie has had enough and is fighting back taking legal action against malicious rumors spreading online and privacy invasion. Her agency OA Entertainment announced through social media a statement on March 9 that it is preparing legal measures in response to ongoing defamatory posts and speculation targeting the artist across online communities and social platforms.
Agency Warns Against False Claims and Defamation
the agency has observed a growing number of posts containing malicious comments, speculations, and false information about the singer. Especially after the newest video circulating online with Jennie in Paris asking fans for space, people once again started to debate the artist’s attitude and beaviour spreading hate comments.
The agency explained that such content has caused damage to the artist’s reputation and emphasized that the issue is being taken seriously.
“We are preparing legal action based on legal consultation,” the statement said.
The agency also addressed increasing incidents involving invasions of Jennie’s personal privacy. It noted that some individuals have been interfering with the artist’s personal time or following her movements, actions the company described as unacceptable.
Jennie Continues Active Promotions
Despite the situation, Jennie remains active in the entertainment industry. She recently appeared on the Korean variety program “Manitto Club” and is currently promoting BLACKPINK’s third mini album “Deadline”.
