Almost a year after the new Lexus IS made its global debut, the popular sports sedan has finally made its way into the Philippines.
Held at the Lexus Manila Gallery, Lexus Philippines officially previewed the new 2026 IS sedan. There will be three variants available: IS 300h Executive, IS 300h Premiere, and IS 350 F Sport. Although the design has changed, it is still based on the current generation IS, which debuted in 2021.
For the 2026 Lexus IS, most of the changes are at the front. It features restyled headlights, a revised grille, and a new bumper that matches the look of newer Lexus models. Like before, the F Sport variant features a sportier bumper. However, at first glance, it’s now harder to tell the difference between the F Sport and the standard IS hybrid.
At the rear, the changes are less noticeable. The Lexus logo has been ditched in favor of a LEXUS script. The F Sport variant also features a new, more aggressive-looking spoiler.
Inside, Lexus updated the dashboard with a new instrument cluster featuring new visuals and revised air conditioning vents. There’s also a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system at the center. Unfortunately, with the larger infotainment, the 2026 Lexus IS also loses the analog clock, which is a bummer.
Under the hood, there are no changes to the powertrain. Buyers can choose between the fuel-efficient 2.5L 4-cylinder hybrid or the ever-reliable 3.5L V6 for the F Sport variant.
Pricing for the 2026 Lexus IS starts at PHP 3,128,000 for the IS 300h Executive. Meanwhile, the IS 300h Premiere retails for PHP 3,408,000. The top spec IS 350 F Sport will set buyers back PHP 4,388,000.
