Porsche has introduced the Cayenne S Electric, a new variant positioned between the entry-level electric Cayenne and the flagship Porsche Cayenne Electric Turbo.

The model expands the brand’s all-electric SUV lineup with a balance of performance, efficiency, and additional equipment compared with the base version.
The Cayenne S Electric produces 400 kW (536 hp) from its dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, with output rising to 490 kW (656 hp) when Launch Control is activated. It accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in a scant 3.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of up to 250 km/h.
Its WLTP combined range is up to 653 kilometers, supported by a high-voltage battery with a gross capacity of 113 kWh, which is also used in the other electric Cayenne variants. When connected to a suitable fast-charging station, the battery can charge from 10 to 80 percent in less than 16 minutes at up to 400 kW.
The electric drivetrain uses permanent magnet synchronous motors on both axles. The rear motor features direct oil cooling, which dissipates heat directly from current-carrying components for improved efficiency under sustained high loads. The rear-axle pulse inverter uses silicon carbide semiconductors and can handle currents up to 620 A.
The Cayenne S Electric has model-specific front and rear aprons finished in Volcano Grey Metallic, with body-colored inserts and diffuser. It rides on 20-inch Cayenne S Aero wheels.
Several performance options previously reserved for the Turbo model are also available. These include Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) for improved handling, Porsche Active Ride suspension that reduces body movement, and the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) system with yellow brake calipers.
The Sport Chrono Package is also available, adding a Push-to-Pass function that provides up to 90 kW (120 hp) of additional power for 10 seconds. A Track mode can precondition the battery to maximize performance during track driving.
Customers can configure the vehicle with 13 exterior colors and multiple interior and accent packages.
Alongside the new model, Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur introduced a new offering under its “Style” product line called the Interior Style Package.
The package is part of a series of curated “Director’s Cuts” created by the Style Porsche design studio and Exclusive Manufaktur. It will be available for all versions of the electric Cayenne.
The package features a two-tone leather interior in Black and Delgada Green, coordinated with the exterior color Mystic Green Metallic. The design extends to the door trims and 14-way adjustable Comfort Seats, with seat belts matching the green color theme. Decorative stitching in Delgada Green and embroidered outlines of the Porsche crest on the headrests highlight the interior detailing.
Aluminium trim pieces painted in Izabal Green provide contrast against the leather surfaces. The GT sports steering wheel includes a 12-o’clock marker and cross stitching in Delgada Green, while an Izabal Green ring surrounds the airbag module and the drive-mode selector wheel.
Additional design details include green accents on the compass dial, Sport Chrono stopwatch, and power meter in the instrument cluster. The interior also features a Silvershade accent package, a center console armrest embossed with “Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur,” and black anodized aluminum door sills with the model name illuminated in green.
The vehicle key is also finished in Izabal Green and comes in a case with Delgada Green stitching.
Of course, these options will come at an additional cost and depend on whether the dealership is allocated one, especially if the client chooses a PTS color.
