HUAWEI has unveiled its new affordable wireless earbuds: the HUAWEI FreeBuds SE 5 Max. It will be available as soon as November 8, featuring up to 52dB active noise cancellation (ANC) and LDAC support.
Each earbud weighs 4.3 grams and packs a 10mm dynamic driver inside. LDAC support allows Hi-Res audio over Bluetooth. The ANC has Ultra, Medium, and Cosy modes. For calls, the earbuds use a six-microphone setup with wind noise resistance.
Users can adjust gestures, a 10-band equalizer, and ANC modes in the HUAWEI Audio Connect app. It works on Android and iOS. The earbuds carry an IP55 rating.
They use Bluetooth 6.0 and connect to two devices at once. HUAWEI claims battery life at up to 80 hours with the charging case. A 10-minute charge gives about four hours of playback.
