VinFast Philippines has officially launched the VF MPV 7 electric vehicle in the country, marking the model’s third international market. The launch expands the brand’s local lineup and supports its push to grow electric vehicle adoption in the country.
The VF MPV 7 is priced at PHP 1,518,000 with the battery included, or PHP 1,239,000 under a battery subscription model. The subscription costs PHP 2,700 per month for up to 2,000 km, and PHP 4,150 for usage beyond that threshold.
Orders open on May 5, 2026, through VinFast dealerships nationwide. Until May 31, 2026, the first 1,000 customers will receive a one-year free battery subscription for up to 2,000 km per month. Buyers who opt for the battery-included version will get a PHP 27,200 discount.
The VF MPV 7 is positioned as a seven-seater electric MPV aimed at families looking to move from traditional internal combustion models. VinFast noted that MPVs account for nearly 20% of automotive sales in the Philippines, making it a key segment for growth.
The vehicle measures 4,740 mm long, 1,872 mm wide, and 1,734 mm tall, with a 2,840 mm wheelbase. Its layout pushes the wheels toward the corners to maximize interior space. Exterior features include V-shaped LED daytime running lights and 19-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the cabin is designed for practicality and passenger comfort, including the third row, and features a two-tone leather interior. Cargo capacity can reach up to 1,240 liters. The VF MPV 7 is powered by a 150 kW electric motor producing 280 Nm of torque, paired with a 60.13 kWh battery. It has a claimed range of up to 450 km on a full charge based on NEDC standards. 80 kW Fast charging allows the battery to go from 10% to 70% in about 30 minutes.
VinFast said its operating costs are lower and more stable than those of gasoline-powered MPVs, helping reduce the total cost of ownership. Owners will also get free charging at V-Green stations across the Philippines until March 2029. The vehicle comes with a 7-year or 160,000 km warranty, while the battery is covered for 10 years or 200,000 km.
